Description
The wine exhibits a bright mid-density color with captivating purple hues. Through the use of large-format French oak, the red spice and bramble fruit of Hunter Shiraz are allowed to shine. The initial palate is supple and harmonious, offering a seamless flow from beginning to end. Acidity plays a crucial role in providing structure and longevity to the wine. This impressive vintage follows the success of the 2018 release, showcasing subtlety and power in perfect balance. The winemaking process involved a 3-day cold soak followed by a 5-6 day fermentation at controlled temperatures. The vineyard’s heavy clay soil contributes to the concentration of fruit flavors and the wine’s tannin structure. Notably, this wine was matured exclusively in French oak barrels, without the use of new oak.
